Most colleges will accept November SAT subject scores for Early Decision/ Early Action. When you register for the November test, add the name of the ED/EA college to the registration so that they receive the scores electronically from the College Board. My recommendation is for you to also email the scores to the ED/EA colleges as soon as you receive them to insure that they have these results when they are reviewing your application.

Some colleges will state categorically that they will not take standardized test scores after the application deadline. It is always prudent to know the deadline posted by your ED/EA college for each component of your application.

Unfortunately, there is no one place where you can find out what is the latest test date for your particular school. Many schools will accept November testing, but many schools, for instance, MIT, will not. If you did not have scores automatically sent to colleges when you registered for the test and you are taking the November test, some colleges will accept a screenshot or printout of your test report from your guidance counselor. You will, of course, need to provide an official report asap.

Check carefully, as although many private schools are fine with test scores coming in a few days after your application, many public schools will not consider you for early action or early decision unless your scores are in by the Nov. 1 (or Nov. 15) deadline.
